Legal Center Submits Amicus Brief Supporting Firing of Teacher for Promoting Creationism

The legal center has filed a friend of the court brief in a case before the Supreme Court of Ohio, Freshwater v. Mt. Vernon City School District Bd. of Ed. The brief argues that the school district was justified in firing a teacher for promoting creationist ideas in his public school science classroom and that doing so did not violate the teacher’s First Amendment rights.
